Last evening brought little prince straight to KKH as his temperature was soaring as high as 39.1 degree celsius when I reached IL’s office… This is the 1st time that he had such a high fever… He was still his usual self on Wednesday night but whole of yesterday, 老公 told me that little prince was way too grumpy & restless & kept whining to be carried… When I see him being so restless, my heart really ached A LOT…

Luckily the traffic flow to KKH was not that jammed & 老公 dropped us @ the Children’s A & E to register while he went to find parking lot… Little prince was whining when the nurse trying to take his temperature & also his blood pressure & I tried to use sweets to distract his attention but still failed to calm him down…

We waited quite a short while before the doctor’s ready to see little prince… As usual procedure, told the doctor what exactly happened to little prince & also what medication was given to him, blah blah blah… Little prince whined again when the doctor trying to listen to his lungs (to check any infections) & taking his temperature again… Ibuofen was given to little prince & followed by a blood test… And my, little prince cried his lungs out when the nurse gave him the a dose of the ibuofen via syringe… He vomited a little out (due to his crying) & finally he finished the dosage… I almost wanted to tear when I was standing there helplessly, not being able to calm little prince down… 真的真的很心痛 seeing him going thru’ the painful ordeal of taking the medication & also the blood test… I really think that I’m a useless mummy as I can’t do anything to ease little prince’s pain…

While waiting for the blood test results to be out, little prince totally can’t be calm down & kept crying & crying & refused to let me or老公 to sit (whenever we carried him)… One thing about KKH’s services, it’s that they didn’t even give me any fever patch or something to bring down little prince’s fever (since his temperature’s pretty high) & ended up I had to get one myself… Kinda pissed off though… Luckily the blood test result showed nothing serious & little prince was allowed to go home with few medications & he fell asleep while on the way back…

Am really praying hard that the fever devil will leave little prince alone soon… Till now, little prince’s still having fever (about 38+ degree Celsius) when I measured his temperature this morning…

Our everdearest little prince, you must faster recover soon ok… Mummy & Daddy doesn’t want to see you like that… Faster recover!!! LOVE YOU!!!
