~*~ 2nD bLooD TesT mOnitORinG ~*~
Today is my 2nd blood test monitoring on my own...
Woke up @ 8.30am and had my 1st finger-pricked before breakfast and the reading is 4.4 mmol/L (within normal range) and after that, switched on my PC & surf my favorite website as usual.... Then I got myself prepared to meet Charmaine for shopping in town... Before leaving the house, had my 2nd finger-pricked after breakfast and the reading is 7.8 mmol/L (exceeded 0.8... OMG!!!)...
Anyway, took a train down to Orchard & met Charmaine @ Far East Plaza to collect my shoes & Charmaine wanna get her CNY clothings... After spending 2+ hours shopping @ Far East, we decided to head to Republic Foodcourt @ Wisma for lunch... Had my 3rd finger-pricked before lunch and the reading is 4.4 mmol/L (within normal range)... Then headed over to Isetan @ Shaw House for more shopping... After walking for 1/2 - 1 hour there, we decided to proceed to Vivo City to continue our shopping mission.. Didn't get anything there though... Went up to the Pet Safari & saw many cute little puppies and very cute dog accessories... How I wish my hubby can let me keep a dog... =( Had my 4th finger-pricked after lunch and the reading is 6.1 mmol/L (within normal range)...
We bidded each other goodbye around 5+pm & I took a train back to east side to meet my hubby for dinner... Had my 5th finger-pricked before dinner and the reading is 5.4 mmol/L (within normal range) and headed to Giant @ Bedok to get a brand new electric air-pot... Walked around the supermarket for 1+ hour as it's the favorite past time for me & hubby and had my 6th finger-pricked after dinner and the reading is 4.9 mmol/L (within normal range)... Hubby was happy with my blood test results as I've controlled my sugar level quite well and he decided to reward me to KFC for supper... (thanks dear!!) After buying that, went home sweet home... And had my final finger-pricked before bedtime and the reading is 4.3 mmol/L (within normal range)... =)
As for baby Kayden, he's been a very good boy today... These few days he's very very active and sometimes his movements too rough till sometimes quite pain... So baby Kayden, pls be a good boy & stay in mummy's tummy till full term (about 8 more weeks) then come out, ok??
Mummy love you lots & will reward you the Zinger burger later for supper... =)
