~*~ ScaRy bLooD tesTs ~*~

Today woke up pretty early as I need to be in KKH for my blood tests @ 8.30am... I was not supposed to eat or drink after 12 midnight since yesterday... Yesterday night didn't really sleep well, cuz maybe to 'excited' to have my blood tests taken... I'm a person who will freaked out when I see needles poking into my flesh...

Woke up @ 7.30am & woke hubby up... When we leave the house, it was 8.15am le... My appointment supposed to be @ 8.30am & sure late one cuz of the pouring rain cum morning traffic jam... Reached KKH @ 9am & proceed to the lab, and the nurse asked me to sit down on a chair while she took out the syringe & a container... I almost faint when I see the syringe... But but, too bad, my hubby is waiting outside for me & I have to be brave... So I looked away when I saw the nurse poking the syringe needle into my flesh... Surprisingly, this 1st one not pain @ all... Hmm... is it cuz the nurse is very experienced or???

Anyway, after the nurse taken my blood, she gave me a cup of glucose water to drink & I was still not allowed to eat or drink after that cup of glucose water... *Pengz* I'm already soooo hungry liao still not allowed to eat??? That cup of glucose water is soooooooo sweet & make me wanna puke... Yucks... When I'm done with the 1st blood test @ 9.21am, the nurse asked me to come back 2 hours later for a 2nd blood test... *faint* another one??? omg...

Hubby decided to drive back home 1st then go back to KKH... So 2 hours later I went back & took the scary 2nd blood test... This time is still the same nurse but it's painful lo... I really feel the pain lo... Wondering why there's such a big difference when the same nurse took the tests...

Anyway, it's finally over for my blood tests... Now only waiting for the results to be reveal by the doctor this thursday... Hopefully the results is good = no gestational diabetes...

My hubby & me can't wait to see how much Kayden has grown this thursday... =)
