~*~ 1sT LaTe NiGhT OuT ~*~

Yesterday was my 1st time staying out soooooo late eversince I'm pregnant... After attending a dinner event with my hubby, I went to meet my darling sis Josephine aka Kayden's godma... It's really been very very long since I last met up with her...

Headed to Mr Bean @ Selegie to meet her... I just had my dinner not long and I'm hungry again... So I ordered Carbonara as I've been having cravings for that long long time liao & Josephine ordered a Sirlion steak... I was pretty surprised that Mr Bean's food portion is soooo big that the Carbonara can be consumed by 2 person... I also told the waitress that I don't want the Carbonara to be too cheesy but still end up very cheesy, unlike the one I ate @ Cafe Cartel... Ended up I only ate less than 1/2 of the pasta... Very disappointing... And as for Josephine's steak, she asked for medium rare but it turned out to be almost well-done and her steak is super duper small... Too bad I didn't take any pics of the food... If not you will know what I mean... *disappointed*

My darling sis bought 4 sets of clothes, 3 pairs of socks and 1 set of bedding set (a pillow, bolster & blanket) for Kayden while she's on her Bangkok trip last Dec... Kayden loved the stuffs that his godma bought for him cuz while I'm going thru' the stuffs, he kept kicking... keke...

Thank you, Godma Josephine!!
After our dinner @ Mr Bean, Josephine brought me to Hark Music Cafe & Bar which is just opposite of Mr Bean... They have different themes everyday... The reason why we went there cuz one of her school senior is singing there as their weekend singer (every weekend they have different singners)... At 1st I thought it's a normal cafe with live band... When we reached there, I was surprised that there's cover charge only on Fri & Sat... They have 2 kinds of cover charge: (i) $15 per pax with 2 standard drinks/1 ice blended drink & (ii) $18 per pax with 2 alcoholic drinks/housepour... To me, I find that it's too ex to pay for the cover charge... Hmm... Maybe Hark Music should waived the cover charge for Fri & Sat since they can waived on normal days... Anyway, we still went in and I quite like the ambience there as it's a smoke-free place to hang out... Her senior started his mini concert @ 9.15pm with 5 songs and when it's 10pm, the stage is for people who wants to perform with Hark Music's live band and feel like a 5-min-star for the night...

My darling sis was being 'sabo' by her senior to sing a duet with him on stage... Well, just for your info, my darling sis sings very very well and during my pubbing days with her @ Century, many people always asked her to sing... So after she sang the duet (which is her warm up song), she chose another song to sing a while later... And for the night, my darling sis had sung 3 songs in total & the host actually invited her to join their Live! Unplugged Singing Contest on thursday... I was surprised that even Diya Tan (their Feb's Champion '06), Jeff Teay (their Jun 06 1st runner up/Best Vocal Tone) and Charlotte Loh (their Jun '06 finalist/Best Star Appeal) from Project SuperStars had performed @ Hark Music Cafe before... The host was quite persistant (i would say) and my darling sis had no choice but to join the contest... I told my darling sis that I will go down & support her with Kayden...

Anyway, for those people who's interested can go this website
http://harkmusic.com/cafe/nightly_programme.htm & find out more details on Hark Music cafe & bar on their daily events...

Overall, I really enjoyed myself yesterday with the company of my darling sis Josephine aka Kayden's godma & her group of friends there... We stayed all the way till closing time & reached home 2+am...
